Stockton airport to offer Lyft ridesharing

The Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK) is excited to announce a new partnership with rideshare company, Lyft. The rideshare company, which provides a seamless, affordable, and reliable method of transportation, will now offer both pick up and drop off service at SCK—providing customers a hassle-free and convenient means to travel to and from the airport.

“We are extremely pleased that Lyft has expanded their service to now include Stockton Metropolitan Airport. This service is another facet of our efforts to better serve our passengers and provides the residents of our community another option for their ground transportation needs. Working with the Lyft staff to launch this service has been a great experience and we look forward to working together as this service matures at SCK,” said Stockton Metropolitan Airport Director, Russell Stark.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding Lyft’s operations to the Stockton Metropolitan Airport” said David Kunst, General Manager of Northern California for Lyft. “With the addition of these designated pick-up locations for rideshare vehicles, riders travelling in the Stockton area can count on a convenient and affordable Lyft ride to and from the airport. We’re thankful to the SCK team for their collaboration and we look forward to providing a great rider and driver experience.”

Stockton Metropolitan Airport will continue to offer daytime and overnight parking steps away from the terminal as well as taxi service to and from the airport. With the addition of Lyft ridesharing services, SCK offers multiple convenient ground transportation options for regional leisure and business travelers flying to and from SCK destinations, such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, and starting in August, Los Angeles.
