SJ Council of Governments Opens Public Comment Period for Airport’s Initial Study and Plan

The next phase in an update to how land around the airport is developed is underway.San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) has opened a public comment period for Stockton Metropolitan Airport’s Initial Study and Plan. SJCOG has completed and independently reviewed an Initial Study and has prepared a draft Negative Declaration for the update to the Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) Update for the Environs of Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK). NOTE: All interested persons are invited to comment on the Negative Declaration pursuant to the provisions of CEQA. The comment period is 30 days starting on January 4, 2016 and ending on February 12, 2016.
